I share my work a lot on social media, but with a painting a photo never really replaces standing in front of the work. Scale, colour, surface and the different layers of paint start to work in a completely different way in a space, especially with larger paintings.
A painting can look quite different on a screen than it does in person. With a large format, it also matters how the work relates to the viewer and to the space. Colours shift with the light, and up close the layers and details that are not always visible in a photo come through.
That is why I am glad that my paintings can also be seen and bought at Artrovert Gallery in Tallinn, as they have been for years now. There you can look at the works in person and sense their real scale, their colours and their presence in a space.
Artrovert always has a selection of my paintings on show, and the works in the gallery change over time. If one of my works has caught your eye, or you would simply like to see my work outside a screen, it is worth having a look at which paintings are currently in the gallery. You can also see all of my currently available paintings → here on my website.
